After graduating from Oxford with a computer Science Degree in 2015 Charles pivoted into the world of business and was an ICAEW chartered accountant by 2018.

During his 10+ years he has worked in practise helping business manage their books, support them with filings including income taxes, VAT, statutory accounts and payroll. As well as the regulatory/mandatory filings Charles enjoys providing management with insights using the data available from them whether from spreadsheets, till/POS systems, or simple support in getting invoices/expenses into the accounting software.

From 2020 Charles worked for a NASDAQ listed multinational being the head of a department managing the accounting reporting of over $500m of revenue per year with a multinational team. Working in a high-pressure environment with thousands of monthly transactions means he will be able to find solutions that work efficiently for you. This experience means Charles understands tight deadlines and the requirement to maximise output for clients to not waste their money.

Charles likes to maximise the use of technology to assist with process improvements. He is passionate about simplifying the manual processes such as invoice recording/payroll to enable more time to be spent on 'added value services' such as building out KPI reporting, direct connections from CRM/POS systems to provide daily/weekly financial dashboards to provide useful information to management to enable better decision and drive businesses to success.
